    Customer service has been excellent! I have been working with Luke Skaggs and he has gone above and beyond expectations! Kristen and Kandice also did a great job getting myself set-up for the auction before I could even call. They saw I had a failed login attempt as being a new buyer and unregistered at the auction and had me set up without hesitation.

    The photos and the CR’s seem to be very accurate and the pictures with the tire gauges are a great addition to bidding with confidence online.

    The online experience went well. The video and audio did not work for the first several cars but i was able to type in the message section and the auction was stopped and the problem was fixed.

    Well done AAA – St. Louis and I look forward to bidding again the upcoming weeks (now, can we get the market to drop a little bit haha)

    Vanessa, Maquaria, and Martin have all been professional and quick to respond to my various requests and questions.

    For condition reports, I recommend taking a picture of each tire with a tread depth gauge, as some other auctions are now doing. See “Interstate Pneumatic Professional Dial Tread Depth Gauge” on Amazon ($8). This allows me to bid with more confidence on vehicles. Interior pictures showing a close up of a working Navigation screen (show the map) sunroof, DVD or other value added features would allow me to bid higher for those vehicles.

    Online bidding has been problem free.

    The 2016 Tahoe I bought had the tires listed all at 6/32. 3 of the 4 tires were at 3/32 and one was at 10/32. I had to put three new tires on it to match the one good tire = $650.

    Cannot get anyone to call you back. Who does condition reports with no interior pictures. Who wants to buy a van with a 4.0 cr and u dont even know if it has back seats.

If you do not have audio/video, you will want to contact that department to identify where the issue is coming from. If the support rep has audio on their side, they may ask permission to log into your system to identify the cause. If the issue is on the auction side they will notify the block immediately.     Big problems with if bids. You should not leave dealers waiting until 6pm when they are bidding before noon on the unit. The big dealers own the show. This is a problem for dealers like me that travel to your sale. We don’t have all day to wait on the if bids. I personally haul my own and have drivers. Drivers cost money and when the if is a no salel and it takes all day to learn that, it isn’t right. If bid should be up to buyer if he or she wants to wait otherwise auctioneer should use back up bidder method. Or maybe the auction should have absolute lows on hand before running the units.
    Condition reports give no indentations of mechanical ability of vehicles.
    St. Louis lot is horrible. Mud pit out there and giant pot holes.
    Customer service…. I don’t believe it should take more that one call to get a buy sheet and gate pass faxed. It took me 3 hours and numerous calls for this yesterday. I did not call first time until about 230pm to make sure all the sale day craziness was done. That needs help. I did get a gate pass but still today waiting on the buy sheet.

    First off, I would love to see more pictures of each car running thru, especially when I am trying to bid online.

    Next, I sometimes have audio issues when I am trying to bid online, especially lane # 1 for some reason.

    The staff thinks they are the only auction and they don’t care about their customers plus no matter how much money you spend on the car to make it looks good! It’s going to get destroyed because of there uneven yard

    I purchase buy a lot of vehicles online. I use condition reports as a guide. Its very difficult to buy something that has a cr… but no pictures of interior. Very frustrating. This is the only auction i have bought from that does this on certain units. Also very frustrating that sales rarely answers phone on sale day and never returns call even when leaving message

    The sales people are focusing on the 10-15 big dealers and throwing away thousands of small dealers regarding lane numbers! Can’t sell anything .
    I’m watching when this big dealers go away!!!!!!!

Many auctions base their number placement on multiple factors – 1) Early Reservations… 2) Strategic Marketing, such as piggy-backing smaller dealers with larger dealers that have a following of buyers… 3) Availability of Disclosure… There may be more… But the best course of action would be to speak with an Auction Representative about how you can increase your opportunity with America’s Auto Auction St. Louis and learn more about their placement policy. You might find that there’s a method to the madness!

    A lot of trouble with camera not working. If no CR report then you can’t see much of the car. Need 2 cameras per lane . So you don’t get so many surprises. Staff is friendly. Some of the other AAA’S could learn from St.louis especially Chicago and Bowling green Kentucky
