    Have always enjoyed my experiences with 166. I too wish there would be more CR on the vehicles, although the pictures of each vehicle is very helpful.

    Attended online and was not able to bid above $25,000 as my limit had ‘somehow’ been lowered. Called and was told that ‘it just happens’ sometimes, not sure why.

    1. After reviewing the information with the auction, we found that the information had been entered quite some time ago, but not recognized until the bidding took place online. We have reached out to the technology vendors to recommend that they make this information visible in the bidding screen. Thank you for providing this feedback. Not sure if anyone else has had this experience, but it has never been introduced to us or the auction.

    great company, that was created by wonderful employees… I have been doing business with 166, since 1964, the traditions has never changed.. as always, the attitude, starts at the top, and I know Tom is very proud, and lucky to have the work force that serves his customers every day..good luck to everyone!!!

    The online bidding can use some work. This is the 2nd time that we have bid and it’s kicked it back online. It appeared we didn’t even bid when we did and it said sold after our bid was put in only to go the other bidder that bid below our bid. I’m not impressed with the bidding online. I was hoping it would make it easier for us to bid when we are not able to be there. It definitely will make it to wear I will do less buying in the future. The availability to bid online was one of the reasons I drive to springfield on Wednesday’s to look at inventory but, is wasted when the bids do not go through.

    You guys do a great job with your GSA sale, the photo of the underneath of the vehicle is so important and so helpful. To the best of my knowledge, your sale is the only one that offers this. As an online buyer, this photo enables me to bid with confidence and eliminate those vehicles that appear to have rusted undercarriage. On another note your staff is very helpful and friendly, it shows that they appreciate their customers and your GSA contract; I can tell you there are some other auctions who don’t appreciate either.

    The staff was excellent as always. Please have whoever is taking the vehicle pictures focus more and also add some pictures of the outside of the vehicle.

    I love attending online, have been for many years now, used to go every week but online for me has proven to be easier since my distance is so far. Only thing I would like to see more of is condition reports, I tend to gravitate to the vehicles that have them. Great presentation online you have advanced a lot over the years! Keep up the Great work!

    i also enjoy attending 166 in person, but when i can’t i go on-line. only thing i wish they could do more of are vehicle condition reporting….but that might be allot of work. Therefore, i try to check them out ahead of time on wednesdays.

    It is very seldom that there is condition reports online. I would be bidding online a lot more if there was more condition reports. No condition reports = no bids. Otherwise a nice auction.
